The squirrel monkey is a yellow primate that has a long tail with a black tip. Its trade mark is a black ring around the mouth. These animals are very unfriendly and live in large groups with as many as 300 individuals. When they encounter an enemy they huff and puff and then run away.
Approximate size: Between 10 and 14 inches tall, with a tail between 13 and 16 inches long.
Favorite food: Fruit and insects.
